The Complete Detail includes every step of our Full Detail, plus three paint stages that a wash alone can't do: clay and iron decontamination, a single-stage machine polish, and a durable paint sealant in place of the spray sealant. The result is cleaner, glossier paint that stays protected for longer.

Why the paint stages matter
Run your fingertips over the bonnet after a normal wash, inside a thin plastic sandwich bag. If it feels gritty, that's bonded contamination: brake dust, rail and industrial fallout, tree sap. Washing doesn't shift it. The clay and iron step does, and it's what lets the polish and sealant sit on clean paint rather than on top of grit.
The single-stage polish is an enhancement, not a full correction. It adds gloss and takes the edge off light wash marks. Deeper scratches and heavy swirling need a two-step paint correction (cut and polish).
Who it suits
The Complete Detail suits a car that's been neglected for a while, or one you want looking as close to showroom as a detail can get. It's also the right starting point before a long period of easy maintenance, because the sealant makes every wash after it quicker.
It's a good fit if:
- the paint looks flat or dull even when it's just been washed
- you've bought a used car and want to reset it, inside and out
- the car lives outdoors under trees or near the coast
- you want showroom car detailing standards but don't need a full two-step correction
If the car is already in good condition and just needs a proper clean, a Full Detail is usually enough. If you're after years of protection rather than months, ask us about ceramic coating instead of the sealant.
How a mobile visit works
You book online, we arrive at your address, and the car never leaves your property. Machine polishing needs shade, so we'll ask where the car will be parked. A garage, carport or covered car park is ideal for this package.
- Book. Choose Complete Detail, enter your vehicle size and pick a time.
- We confirm the setup. We arrive self-sufficient where access allows, and we'll confirm water and power needs when you book.
- We detail. Interior first, then wash, decontamination, polish and sealant.
- Walk-around. We show you the finished car before we pack up.
This is our longest package, so expect us for a good part of the day, particularly on larger or dirtier cars. We'll give you a time estimate when you book.

What is a complete car detail?
A complete car detail is a full interior and exterior clean combined with paint decontamination, machine polishing and a protective sealant. Ours includes everything in our Full Detail, plus clay and iron decontamination, a single-stage polish and a durable sealant in place of the spray sealant.
What's the difference between a Complete Detail and a Full Detail?
Both packages clean the car fully inside and out. The Complete Detail adds three paint steps: decontamination with clay and iron remover, a single-stage machine polish for gloss, and a more durable sealant. A Full Detail finishes with a spray sealant and no polishing.
Will a Complete Detail remove scratches?
It will soften light swirls and wash marks, and the paint will look noticeably glossier. It won't remove deeper scratches. Those need a two-step cut and polish, which we quote separately because it takes much longer.
How long does the sealant last?
Longer than a spray sealant, but how long depends on how the car is washed, whether it's garaged and how much sun it gets. Harsh detergents and automatic car washes wear it faster. We'll give you simple aftercare tips at the end of the visit.
Can you do a Complete Detail in an apartment car park?
Usually, yes. Covered basements are often good for polishing. Check your body corporate's rules first and tell us your bay type when you book, so we can confirm water and power needs.
Do I need to be home?
Not for the whole visit. We need access to the car and keys at the start and a quick walk-around at the end. Plenty of customers leave us to it while they work.
