Being based here changes how we work. Being close to our Moorooka base keeps travel short across the southside. If you need the car done before an inspection or a trip, the southside is where we can usually move fastest. We've been doing this for eight years, and these are the streets we know best.
Local conditions
The southside is more varied than people think, and the cars show it.
Close to Moorooka, older suburbs like Yeronga, Annerley and Tarragindi have big street trees, so sap and bird droppings are the daily battle. Rocklea and Yeronga sit on old floodplains, and wet carpets after storms are common. The industrial belt through Rocklea, Archerfield, Acacia Ridge, Heathwood and Larapinta brings diesel soot and metal fallout that bonds to paint.
Further south, newer estates in Pallara, Doolandella and Drewvale have construction dust and almost no shade. Toohey Forest, Karawatha Forest and the Mount Gravatt bushland bring sap and leaf litter that blocks drains and lets water into cabins. Every summer, Brisbane humidity turns any damp carpet musty within days.
