Bookings here follow the landscape. In the bayside suburbs, people mostly ask for exterior car detailing and ceramic coating to keep salt off the paint. In the family suburbs, it's the Full Detail and interior car detailing. Around the port and the acreage blocks, work ute detailing is in steady demand. After summer storms, calls for car mould removal pick up across the whole region.
Local conditions
Moreton Bay shapes most of what we see. Salt air drifts inland from Wynnum, Manly and the Redlands foreshore, settles on paint and glass, and slowly dulls the finish. Boat owners who launch at Manly, Thorneside, Wellington Point or Weinam Creek get salt water on the back of the tow car as well.
Further inland, the problems change. Cars in Hemmant, Lytton and Murarrie pick up industrial fallout that shows as rusty specks on white paint. In Chandler, Gumdale and Sheldon it's acreage dust. Leafy suburbs like Belmont and Ormiston get sap and bird droppings. The humidity everywhere east of the Gateway means a car closed up after a storm can turn musty within days.
